Bill Evans Soulgrass recording gets a Grammy nomination in the Contemporary Jazz Category!  Congratulations Bill!  Make sure you get this incredible recording.  (Bill is in the process of getting US distribution - stay tuned!)

Bearfoot is headed to the studio to record a new cd.  We expect this to be out by early June 2006.  The recording will be almost entirely original tunes written by the band members with several by lead singer Annalisa.  Incredibly, this band has been touring mainly during the summer months while they finished school. Beginning in 2006, they are available for full time touring.  Those of you who have seen them perform will agree, great things are in store for these young musicians from Alaska. Look for them coast to coast at festivals during June, July and August. Tour blocks are forming for the 06-07 concert season.  Look for Bearfoot at various regional Arts Presenters conferences in the fall! www.bearfootbluegrass.com

Bill Evans And Soulgrass - TG2 Artists is proud to announce the addtion of this incredible artist to our roster of talent.  A powerhouse in the jazz world, sax player Bill Evans has been performing with the best in the genre since 1980 when he joined Miles Davis. (Find out more about Bill at www.billevanssax.com )  His Sougrass project has Bill reaching in new directions and integrating jazz, funk, and bluegrass and creating a new hybrid. There's even a little Celtic in the mix!  Bill has been astounding audiences in Europe for years and the fans have been waiting for him to come to the US.  Bill Evans and Soulgrass are available in June and August 06 for festival and concert appearances.  We are currently planning east coast and west coast tours for fall 06.

Darol Anger's Republic Of Strings recording, entitled Generation Nation, is complete! This recording might be Darol’s best yet. The vibe of this record is amazing, and Scott Nygaard re-asserts his primacy as American Acoustic Guiter God. Compass Records release date set for March 14, 2006, and an extensive tour all over the country this spring.

Integrating vocals with Darol’s musical vision has been a major goal since the release of his Heritage CD in the mid-90’s. 4 strong songs were chosen for this next release. Singers include Aoife O’Donovan (Wayfaring Strangers, Crooked Still), Marsha Genensky (Anonymous 4) Chris Webster (Mumbo Gumbo, Chris Webster Band) and the legendary Terry Pinkham, granddaughter of famed Texas fiddle innovator Benny Thomasson). www.darolanger.com
